I don't feel comfortable with Jon bringing his truck on our August trip. But he should totally ride shotgun with you! Could be your radio guy for communication.

    :notsure:

Make him pay for some of the gas :p

We arrived at that conclusion already, he knows his limits in that truck :p

He and his gf rode shotgun for a couple of hours today haha. I don't know if he wants to ride with me for 4 days :p

As for the comms, that's a good idea haha. I'm not sure I'm gonna spend $70 on a CB right now, seems like a lot - like $70 I could put towards sliders... Still have the mobile one for me?

Yea I have the mobile one..but you can't get it till you meet me on Morrison. Unless you stop by and get it before meeting Lisa.

But Brandi doesn't have one either so either you or her get it haha

CB is a great investment man. Even tho not ideal for you  if you start taking passengers(luck to have 4 seats) then it'll be handy.

I be he would. Don't see why not.

I might, I like comms stuff, and antennas haha. We'll see if I have $70 to blow, besides slider money, if I do either lol. The install seems a bit time consuming, time I don;t have (need time for rust treatment on the 4R chassis, if anything!) I do need to get my fancy guage pack in, are you free at all between when you get back and the 3rd week of August (when I leave for IN)...

Will need to find a folding Firestick mount/bracket that will go on my roof crossbars... Don't want a hatch mount, I like them, but don't want it there, too much liability.

lol Monte, you don't know how I drive. I almost never drive my 4Runner with passengers. Especially off road. My idea of off road driving and other people's is very different, i tend to throw my passengers all over the place. Hence my comment that John wouldn't want to ride with me for 4 days lol.

I made an appointment with the "legendary" muffler guy in Powell! This Wednesday, let's hope i keep the appointment and get it done! :)

I think I'd like to get your mobile CB... It's not worth it to get a CB for a deaf rig, like I said I never haul passengers lol .

Sounds good. I'll work on getting all my supplies together. Still need to order my valve gasket stuff, as well as my 3 way switch. Gotta get moving, I do!

Valve gaskets it is then, that's more critical than fancy wiring. Though I wonder if I should get John to help me, since you know more wiring than he does. But you know my engine better. Argh!

If he comes he can help. Ill concentrate on wiring and he does most the gasket with me watching. Possible idea anyways. You can help too d the gaskets. Won't be that hard.
