    was at Mt Rainier National Park today, took this with my nikon d7100

    Not bad. The same shot would look great if you used shutter priority mode and slowed it down around 1/10 shutter speed (+/- depending on lighting) to give the water this type of look:

    yup! i agree, have not read that far in the manual yet to know what im doing haha. and i would want a tripod to steady the shot more

    Nice shot! I don't know what the terrain in front of you looked like but I would love to see it from a lot lower ground. Would make the viewer of the photo feel a little more enveloped in the photo rather than looking down into it. Only critique I thought of :thumbsup:

    I actually did this as a HDR. The middle exposure was 1/250s, iso 100, F5.6 at 300mm.

    I'm watching the 24 Hours of LeMans, and a car went off track nearly hitting the guard rail. All the corner workers scurried back, yet the photographers covering the event stood their ground. Gotta love the "do anything to get the shot mentality"

    Cool thank you! would this setting work the same for sunsets and sunrises? Or would the exposure need to be changed? Im just learning so sorry if i sound rookie.

    Read up on this, your settings are going to constantly change depending on the lighting conditions and other factors.
