All I have read is what people need haha so I would oblige my self to have a 4x4 instead of a Pre runner or just go long travel on it and be happy with that being most of my offroad encounters haven't needed 4 wheel drive

Shit I thought the same about my 5lug until I got an air locker for the rear... I don't wanna crawl up rocks and break my truck. So I have yet to meet a trail that won't let me pass. The only thing I haven't tried is heavy snow. But shoot it should do me well!

3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
4x4 would be nice...but I have to get rid of these coil spacers before anything else.

I just dislike how bogged down my truck is with the big tires and heavy wheels... Guess I should have spent a little more on aluminum wheels. Or just regear, or supercharge it. I don't know! I just want more acceleration while keeping my current mpg! Haha

Regearing is alot cheaper haha so i would say that, aluminum vs steel wheels really isn't that different your not rocking 20s or any shit like that

Just looked it up it would be about 80lbs different from steel to aluminum

Haha you're probably right. I'm mainly only complaining about it now because the two people that I hang out with have a Camaro and a 5.7 Silverado. So whenever I get in my truck and drive it I feel slow... Whenever I go back to Missouri I probably won't care anymore.

I'm at the point now where if I want to go fast I hop on my motorcycle. I used to run the hell out of my truck but rarely anymore. My truck is faster than my moped so it'a good enough.

Anywho, I can't decide on what rear shock to get for my Dakars. Maybe rancho 9000s. Or the typical 5125 of course.

Yeah, I've been looking at the Harley Davidson Iron 883's.... $8,000

Or I just bite the bullet, wait until I pay off my Tacoma in 2 years, then buy a brand new Tacoma.

No. I can get fox 2.0s. As with the ranchos, they are for 0-1" lift, and I'm gonna have 2.25" lift. It almost looks like I can only get billies.

I would never buy an 883. Small and slow. At least get the 1200, but then step up to the dyna bikes. Sportsters are gheyyyyyyyy. I will probably get a fat bob, but my dad just got a new road glide and it is amazingly comfortable for highway riding, so I kinda want one instead.
