    updated signature photo with the bull bar installed...

    had a bear of a time (punctuated by a couple bloody knuckles) negotiating access to the qty=4 factory mount nuts, as well as gaining enough leverage to loosen factory-tightened (no lift, so taco was on-ground), but in the end, very pleased with the final appearance! (primarily for looks, since wife not keen on my taking it off-road)

    Trailer Harness Relocation complete

    Here is a shot of the back side. I decided to use the stock existing bracket to hold it in place. only downside is the bolt heads are exposed on the outside of the bumper. Does not bother me at all and I plan on getting a HC bumper soon anyways.

    Painted my dust light lens with Duplicolor metalcast anodized Yellow paint. I have a yellow H3 bulb in it but wanted to yellow it up even more. Worked like a charm.

    I did that to my IPF's two years ago. It looked fantastic for 6 months, until it started to crack and flake off. And I used prep-sol before I painted to really clean the lens.

    Figured out why the battery light was on and where the charging problems were. Apparently the alternator voltage regulator has been broken for a while. Hmm, wonder how that happened? There's also a chunk of the housing missing, maybe it ate some gravel. It has been submarined a time or ten too... The brushes look good though!

    At the track of COURSE!!! LOL idk why butmy families 2006 4runner 4.0 has a lower speedometer but my tacoma is the same motor but goes up to 125 i believe? While the 4runner bounces at 110... Why is that?!
