man quite a few guys from East TN I am seeing.

 

yeah. i have a few stickers on back window, kinda easy to spot. click the link in my sig and look at my build.

sadly right now my rear pumper is chrome agin, go to take it off this week and spray it with bed liner.


we have some other guys around knox as well, also some out close to Blount county.

 

ya we will just over look the bama comment.

Well I just got the truck this week. So I am not sure.

and stang looks good, even though i’m not much of a stand guy more of a vet guy. or old school muscle cars. like ’69 to ’72 charger. but that pic from the dragon? what is your best time? I have done 19m down till i got behind some stupid cruiser, probably could have shaved another min or 2 off that time.(from the store back into TN) did it in the truck, had tires screeching in just about every corner.

 

Anybody know anything about the Level 8 Guardian wheels? They Look a lot like the TRD Beadlocks but half as expensive.

Someone said in a thread though that 16" Duratracs won't fit them because they are 16x8.5. Not a deal breaker but kind of sucks. Could do 17's if I really wanted both I guess if that is true.

and idk why the 16” duratracs wont fit? sound like they are 16” tall, and 8.5” wide(the wheels) unless the 16” duratracs can’t be mounted on a 8.5” wide wheel...

 

fastest time was 16 minutes and when we were done the brakes were smoking literally. I'm still getting used to the truck size and height so won't be doing any corner carving in for a while. But I don't do the dragon anymore. That was the last time I was there and it was in March. I watched a guy get killed right in front of me on it that day and Just decided I didn't need to do it anymore.

 

pretty good time. also the taco corners really well for a truck. IMHO. i have the auto trans and i shifted it when i have been on the dragon and some times other roads. does not hurt it.

I thought the guys on the cruiser were going to die, they could not stay in their lane at all, keep crossing the double yellow. I was staying kinda far back just waiting for them to get hit.

edit: and i never got over the double yellow in the truck.

 

Well the guy I watched was on the bend right before you get to the store and he went off the side of the mountain at cruise speed and end over end.

Iam glad NC has band big trucks and stuff, now if only TN will do the same(as far as i know they have not yet)
