TRD Sport LED DRLs

I recently bought a 2013 DCSB TRD Off Road, but I'd like to add the white DRLs that come with the TRD Sport package. (Here)

Has anyone found these anywhere else online? I've looked but can only find these and another set on Amazon for the same price. Maybe it's just me, but the ebay ones look to be made pretty cheaply. And they're certainly not worth $180! Help!

 

Those don't come on the sport package that is a dealer package not a factory package

Ah, yea now that you mention it, you're exactly right. I'd forgotten it was a deal add-on. Looks like the only way is through the ebay stuff or from the dealer. I haven't contacted a dealer yet, mainly because I'm afraid to know what they'd charge.

 

There $450 painted and installed at my local dealer. I also tried 2 sets of the Putco Dayliners that were suppose to fit the 2012-2013 Tacomas. But neither set would fit. Had to send both back. I have finally ordered the set for $175 from Amazon. With Duplicolor base and clear to match for about $20. So I should be able to get the dealer look for less than half the price.

 

$175 for some led's below your headlight? Ouch

 

Yea it's $175 for the Euro/Audi look. Why not. Never seen A Taco in person with em yet. Plus what else can you add that is street legal for less than $200 that will make your truck stand out in a crowd from 500 ft away.

You'd probably only be able to see them up closer though during the day. At night the headlights drown them out at a distance.

I guess I feel different about them since in the Southeast or at least here in GA, they sell the XSP package that comes with those, so I see them as much as any other Tacoma model.

They look neat/different/unique, but that price sucks

 

We have the ones from the XSP package on our site as well for $162. I like the looks of them and are currently working on the 05-10 kit.

They are naked and ready for paint on the panels.

 

The wiring harness for the kit has Black/ ground, red /12+acc( LED on all the time,) Blue 12+ dim ,White 12+ for OFF. What switch would you guys use? I have painted and installed everything just need a quality switch to fit a factory hole in the dash? Please help. Thanks.

 

Why do you need a switch? I wired mine in as daytime running lights. Black/ground. Red/Acc and Blue to a side marker light wire. To dim them when I turn on the headlights. Or you could do the White for off when your headlights are on.

 

Pic was from before I installed the LED's. I was trying to paste it on the side in a smaller size. How do I get it on my profile?

 

Trdsparks! Was gonna put them on my rock warrior but never did. Never seen them on a Taco.
