Striders are nice....but for that price I'll get a sebenza. I haven't had a strider, just prefer how the sebbies look. Have you put it through its laces yet?

I do need to get a strider to check them out though

My first big beefy knife was a ZT 0350, felt bomb proof....then I got the sebenza and decided I liked them better, there are people on both sides....I think I'm just a sucker for titanium

Dude I'm starting to hate both of ya for making me look at them more... The Sebenza is classy knife and I think bomb prof too haha... I have a couple of ZTs and they are well made as well... I hate expensive hobbies haha

Bombproof in a different way though, I used to be a sucker for any and all locking knives, ZT, Kershaw, Spyderco, benchmade, etc....after getting my sebenza I no longer want any more....which is weird to me lol. It was definitely worth getting (I found mine like new in box for 350 at a gun show, I know it is real because CRK worked on it since then).

I've got all the paperwork for it and everything. I have since shifted my search for knives to slip joint to carry along side it. Honestly the only other knife I think I would even consider getting that is a locking what not now is a kershaw TILT, they are really cool.

If you decide to ever get a sebenza, you will probably be like me and be very underwhelmed with the knife....I know I was. I have carried it every day since I got it (except when I sent it to CRK), the longer I carry it the more I appreciate it. It is really nice that you can engrave them if you want as well, I got a single line of engraving on mine for I think 35$, which I personally think was well worth it, I was honestly expecting more.

Also, here is mine lol....I need to disassemble, clean and regrease it. On a side note...I really like the CRK grease...a lot more than the benchmade blue lube

    yzu6u8a2_daec861e87dfec56f8fb819245eba1d527ccf828.jpg

I need to take some good pictures of t sometime...

This is a custom engraving that I got CRK to do for me, I believe in using what I have so even though this is a factory customized (I think that is the right term) knife, I carry and use it regularly. I love it, I don't think I will find another knife that I will like more (unless it is a CRK regular or the new 25 which I really want but probably won't get any time soon)

Nice man and well said... The Sebenza 25 caught my eye and the strider double gunner grip did too... FML... I agree with you about it being bomb on the ZT... But you do get what you paid for... How often do you take it apart and lube??? If you got some more pics of it open that would be cool... Bad ass blade man...

I pull it apart whenever I feel it needs it, if it has ridden in my pocket for a few months I won't bother, if I use it somewhere that will get it nasty I will pull it apart....it was used to cut an ice dream cake not too long ago so I've decided it needs it

I'll get some more pictures sometime today for you

Sold a couple knives to pay for some of this lol... I held my FFL dealers (also friend's) Sebenza 21... And I was like this is a gorgeous and well built knife... I'm not saying that its the end all be all knife but I can see the craftsmanship involved... So I picked up Sebenza 25

I really don't like you right now

How do you like it compared to the 21?

I love my 21 and want to get my hands on a 25

I'm assuming you're the same EZ Bake from OSA? This one is the AREA 10. I bought the second one of maybe 5-10 made. He discontinued the AREA 10, and is now making one called WHISKEY 2. I'm actually about to get a WHISKEY 2. They are selling like hot cakes. If you have a Facebook, he is listed as Coye Knives. He posts up his knives on a regular basis

I'm hating myself right now for the amount I paid haha... But this thing has got some amazing workman ship... I really love how the frame lock really LOCKS in the blade and how smooth the pivot is... For me when I held the 21 and 25 and I think a few other people who own Chris reeves knives have said the same thing... Is the added finger groves in the handle gives you more comfortable and possible a stronger hold (not sure if that's all true about the second part lol) on the knife... I couldn't believe how hard it was to find but I found it on truenorthknives.com ... Ordered it weds and got it today and that was standard shipping too!!!

Ya, since it came out not too long ago, it has been hard to find the 25s because of demand. I was kicking myself a bit over what I paid for mine too...carry it for a few months and you won't regret buying it lol

I bought mine to use and I use it. The titanium feels a lot more comfortable after the rough texture from bead blasting wears off, it is a little smoother, and much more comfortable, it also takes an interesting wear pattern

Hell yea man... I'm not a firm believer in pay a shit ton of money for something and not getting my money's worth out of it... It's so smooth upon opening... My biggest plus about both my strider and Sebenza is that the frame lockup is amazing.. I Mean this blade will not move for shit... And you notice that more with the higher end knives... I have also notice now the significance of "jimping" pretty amazing if ya ask me... Lol

I like the jumping on my sebenza, it's not too much like on some knives, it's just enough

Have you taken your 25 apart yet?
