Headlights

I have a 2000 Tacoma and have stock headlights and they are going out on me. I want to get brand new everything, headlight frame and HIDs! Do anyone know of a good HID kit to buy and also aftermarket headlights? I have seen some headlights that are kinda dark/ shaded and look pretty cool! Thanks!

 

You could get housings from rockauto, or eBay has poorly painted black housing headlights (I got those). Hids without projectors are pretty shitty. They look cool and are bright but they don't put the light down the road very well. Unless you are putting projectors in the new housings I wouldn't bother with hids

 

Y'all know any good shaded housings to get? The name and where to get them from?

Why wouldn't I want to put this kit in my stock headings? Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1)

 

You could put them in your current stock setup but id order a new set just to be safe so you're not replacing them shortly after the retro for yellowing or something

 

Thanks guys. In this kit I can't tell if there is the high/low beam lights since I have a 00 and my truck has a single switch for it do I need anything for it?

 

no the morimoto h1 kit is designed for hi/low beams. when you buy the full kit it comes with everything you need for a complete light replacement
