Awesome! I wish I lived a little closer over there, but now that I think about it, I am going to be heading up to Plumas Eureka for camping this weekend and that is in Nevada! It can't too extremely far away from where he's at if it ends up being I may need to trade him plates!

I got the full set from him and all the pieces fit fine without any alterations.
The front cross member bolts are slightly moveable so maybe if you loosen them you can slide it sideways.

regarding the legs, Mine is also very tight. I Need to get out the BFH when I need to put it back on, but it does go. As far as the holes go, I had to rheem out one of the ones on the driver's side, and then it fits fine now. My issue however, is the exhaust crossover. My Y pipe rattles very loud on the drop-down section, especially when I come to a stop in traffic. I've minimized that, but it still does it, and is very annoying:(

Whoa :O that's a far commute! What do you do for a living my man?

You know I tried moving those things and instead the plate ended up fubaring the threads on two of them, so I sat in my garage for the next 2 hours it seems like fixing the threads by endlessly removing and reinstalling the nuts on the bolts :(

YES!! I haven't heard of the BFH mod in a long time! This post just made my day here! Lol. It sounds like yours was slightly manufactured slightly incorrect as well if you had that many issues with it. I could take care of it myself and go to Mr. Jerry Lee at BAMF but I'd like to try and install it myself before I do that. The thing however is that I would like to be able to remove it easily when I need to do T-Case services. As for your exhaust, have you thought about wrapping that particular section with header wrap to avoid that rattling?

I've thought of that, but that means I need to remove my skid again, and that's just not fun:rolleyes: just me being lazy I suppose. But yeah, ill get around to that eventually.

It may take a bit of grinding and elbow grease, but you'll get it to fit man.

It's times like these I wish I had a dremel or at least a grinding stone attachment on my drill so I could widen the holes on the front. I also wish I had a BFH so I could do the BFH mod. :p

I bought a transfer case skid from him and the fitment was very bad, but i think fed ex dropped/bend the skid.

The exhaust side frame leg was 1.5" higher than the other side, so the exhaust would hit the cutout portion skid. I just bent the exhaust side frame leg down a bit and it was good.

measurements from wall to wall of the plate is approx. 40 1/4" which tells me already it was built slightly too long.

You should see how shipping companies handle their packages.. My buddy used to work at UPS in the loading department and he told me they would just TOSS everything in as fast as they could, with no regard to what was inside. One of the fallacies of corporations, is their mass production mentality, and how everything and everyone is just another number to them that they need to move along with some huge rush..

I tried calling that 775 earlier and my phone was saying my account was not authorized to make calls to that number like it was long distance. I have sprint's everything plan so I should be able to call it, was that number correct?

i used to go to college Mon-Wed and work Thur-Sun in concord. There was no way i could make up there what i could in the bay area even with the cost of gas. I am a mechanic, work in a warehouse, clean a fleet of trucks, build and mantain computers for a couple businesses and photo editors, and build rifles and pistols for competition shooting. So i work a ton but the money is good

It ended up being a problem with my phone. I fixed the issue by essentially turning it into a paperweight brick. :D Lol, seriously.. a $500 paperweight, it's a HTC One.. I'm fixing it right now.

Holy crap, I do not know how you find the time to do all of that at once. I'll bet the money must be really good!

Oh by the way, update. One of the TW members swung by yesterday and helped me mount the heavy SOB on. (Thank you very much acdronin!!)

One small minor issue is that the stock crossover pipe now rattles on the plate, which is annoying within itself. One other annoyance is that the check engine light is now on and the trac off light is as well, it makes me wonder if the ECU is being tricked by the rattling pipe and thinking it is knock?

    Thread end /

I figured out what the problem was for the record. I was doing multiple mods on my truck that day, one was removing the second filter and the other was attempting to isolate the tick noise that comes from the VSV valve by the oil fill cap. I pulled the plug but never got around to doing it and totally forgot about the fact I left it unplugged. Caught it after I popped the hood today, re-plugged it in, cleared the check engine, problem solved.. This case has been closed.

The only that might suck is when it comes time to do services on the T-Case :/

Not hard to access the t case, just can't drain it! You're right on that one, unfortunately!
