In one of my crazy thoughts..

Since wiring up the middle PIAA I've been getting high-beamed a few times, plus Johnny Blue busted my balls last week. It's a driving light and the other 2 are fogs.

They are adjusted as far down as I can get them, bottom of the housing is touching the light bar. It seems the light beam goes slightly up as it goes out. I'm thinking if I remove them and reinstall with a washer or 2 between bar and light I can aim them down more so I don't blind people.

    Any thoughts?

The reflectors suck with driving lights. They reflect random rays of light that blind people.

I used to get flashed all the times. Never use my Hellas anymore

I guess another thing I could do is replace the driving lens with a fog lens. When I just had the 2 fogs I never got that.

But then you lose distance. It sucks how people are dicks.

Yesterday I hit 3 people with the 42" bar for having their high beams on. Such a satisfying feeling

Yeah exactly..hence my thought of placing washers in there to aim them further down. I keep some distance yet don't drill people head on with them.

I was gonna say, who needs the Hellas with that big bitch on the roof?

I had Hellas and a cute brush guard for my mall crawling phase.

Try the washer fix for your spot beam. Also try angling it to the right a tad, so it illuminates a lane on the highway from the center of the lane to the lines on the right, that way it should give you some distance and keep it out of them bitches eyes

That was another thought I had. I'll have to buy some washers and mess around with it..I'll just do the driving light at first and see if it helps. Thanks for the thoughts bro..

Moving is a good way to get rid of shit you really don't need even though you have been saving it for years

Oh yeah it is! Even after the garage sale and 2 trips to the dump i'm still loading up trash bags of stuff from my previous life. Soo many photo's to go through and toss of my past life.
On another note, if anyone on here is need of any home goods; dining room table, chairs, coffee tables, kitchen crap......let me know, we have at least 2 of everything and it all must go.

My folks have a ton of the old stuff..Stones, Beatles, Hendrix, Cooper. I found my dad's copy of "Love It To Death" when I was 3 and loved Alice ever since. My wife has some goodies too..some Jefferson Airplane for instance.

My thoughts are don't use the off road lights on the road when there are other cars around

That's exactly why I have mine wired to my high beams. They are too bright and unfocused to be used as an on road light.

I'm a stubborn prick what can I say :) Almost seems like it would make more sense to go HID reflectors, which I know isn't the right way but I bet Johnny Law don't say shit about that
