You're right, it does seem that Johnny Law turns a blind eye to HID in stock reflector housings but you would be mistaken if you think that will give you better lighting. If you drive in rain, snow or fog, I promise that you will hate the lighting that you get from a drop in HID kit. You end up with a LOT of light scatter that will get you high beamed and actually give you worse lighting than a set of quality halogens. If you want some kick ass lights that won't get you high beamed, buy by retrofit kit :D

Yeah that's what I mean, even a normal HID isn't gonna be right with reflectors. Plus like you said defeats the purpose if it's all over the place.

I wish I had the cash for it..still surprised you're selling the fogs too, I get the headlight kit reasoning.

I tried HIDs. I was lighting up street signs for miles, couldn't see much on the ground in front of me.

Truck is slowly going back to stock-ish. I like the looks of MRW's fogs with the tint and clear coat so I bought them up and swapping them out for mine :D

*cough* buy my H1 retro kit *cough*

Sure would. I told everyone I'd keep them up for sale locally til the end of the day before I entertain shipping. I don't like shipping for a lot of reasons, especially with these being custom. This way you get to see them in person so you know exactly what you're getting. If you committed to buy them, I wouldn't go through Paypal, I'd say just wait and we'll meet up sometime soon and go cash if that's alright with you (avoid fees and you get to see them before money changes hands).

Haaa! Thanks man. Just need to get them balanced, an oil change, and lube the slip yoke, then back to perfect.

Damn, those tires look huge! I think the truck looks great, very mean but I gotta be honest though, I liked the 4Runner wheels and Duratrac look a little better

Do you rub with those at all?

A little bit at full lock in reverse, I thought I liked the other set up better but these wheelers wheels and tires are growing on me...
