Here's where we met up after they rescued the truck that slipped off the trail a lil' and we came back from the mine/mill.

The trail was pretty narrow at this point:

Go for it man. I'm posting up a few more random ones below so hang tight and use whatever you want. You like the Articulating Self-Leveling Shock-absorbing HTC Evo LTE GoPro Mount™? I may patent that puppy. :D

That's the most of the them. I wish I had taken the time to crop them before uploading to clean things up but I didn't feel like it. Just set the phone to upload them all to a new folder on Picasa and called it a day.

Nice shots Ost! Great to finally meet you too!

To set the record straight - Yes I told Travis via CB to go down that trail. It is a secondary way back and creates a loop instead of just going back down the main trail. I do not recall it being that tight before however shit grows so I am sure it will be narrower next year. For those of you with glass and shiny paint... consider your Colorado Pin Striping cherry popped. :D

If the Tundy was with us it was have stripes down to the metal and Sean would really cry. :p

Phil - Yeah when you get that installed get those cam bolts greased up so there will be no seizing. An alignment will be needed once they pull those bolts anyways. Let me know if that skid gives you any trouble. I will bring the BFH... or your money back. ;)

That video is great too. Saw it on FB. Your Evo takes some awesome pics (Not like you had to add photo taking skillz behind it or anything. :p) Phil you sending some of those pics to Tacoma Mag?

Had a great time with everyone. We will have to plan another trip for Twin Cone in the future and it also looks like there were 2 shoots off of Argentine that go to the left and way up in the valley. I would like to see if those go anywhere cool sometime too.

Nice to see y'all had a good weekend riding.... been a fab trip back to NC for me. Wheelin Jeep style for my birthday., was cool to see some 4Rs on the trail too. ..I even got to drive Rubi yesterday.

Taco took a fucking parking lot hit... think it was Friday at Wal-Mart... I'm pissed but oh well I guess. Wheels & tires look fab, not sure if I'll get the decals done this afternoon or not.

    pics will eventually follow. ...

Thanks man! It was good meeting you too. This thing (HTC Evo LTE) does take some good pics and video. The quality is decent enough and the lighting in most situations is fairly accurate as compared to most camera phones I've used. It does 1080p vidoe and I can even take stills while video is recording. It also does a burst photo mode that I'll use more next time (it's a PITA to deal with on the fly) that I demonstrated to NativeTaco that's amazingly fast. Resolution & megapixles aren't everything though as I had a Nokia E71 back in the day that only took 3.2mp pictures but the quality was superb. easily the best quality camera in a phone I've ever owned. I'm not a photographer or anything just some schmuck with a camera phone who gets lucky every now and then. :D

Here's a good example of one I got lucky on the other day with one of my dogs, Koby. This is no artificial lighting, no filters, no post other than cropping... just a dog laying on a bathroom mat and the light was filtering in through a window perfectly to my unprofessional eyes:

I would ask Brian but I think you might need to check them every 100k or so. Oh I forgot to mention that the walkie talkie I had was doing some funky stuff switching channels on it's own. I think the batteries might be low. So after a bit we shut it off.

Yeah camping spot looked cool but only in the dry season would I camp there. You cannot see in the video but the river splits and also goes behind that camping spot on the other side. Essentially it is an island. Only takes one flash rain storm up in the valley to send a flood coming down that just might wash you away. RTT would be the only way I might camp there or a tent suspended from trees. :D
