I am moving to the Denver area in the next week or so, I just ordered a 2013 Tacoma (DC, auto, v6, TRD Offroad, with the JBL Etune/Nav system, All weather mats, and TRD Offroad extra value package). I haven't seen either color in person(I have been out of the country for the last few years) but I choose the Nautical Blue over the Spure Mica. I am wondering just how good the deal that they gave me really is. The MSRP is 35,039.00 and I am walking out the door for 31,100.00 ( I thought that it was a good deal). Also I have about 2K set aside for my first round of mods. What are the "must have mods". The chances of this thing ever seeing off road is next to nothing.

    Thanks

The 31000 is before I put down the down payment. I just wanted to see if the deal was decent. That is a good idea every little bit helps.

You are probably right, I can go to my guy here in Phoenix and see if I can do better. PM me a detailed list, colors, etc

I got mine - 2013 TRD off road, DCSB, PreRunner, Black on Grey for $29,000 but have a new guy where I should have got it for 28,500

Was going back over the quote and noticed the 'fees' aka let me try and stick it to you one last time money,on the out the door price.

    Doc fee: $599
Dealer fee: $620 ( this was hidden in the msrp along with a $915 delivery, process and handling fee)
    Non tax fee:$199

Seem a bit ridiculous to me to be charged $2333 in 'fees'

Basically just the rims and step tubes.. But then they add the decals and trimming on the floor mats in the description also. I'm pretty sure it is the same as the Texas Edition

I am curious if this is a good deal. I'm looking at a 2013 black dc trd offroad 4x4. It has tow package, entune, navigation and 7 speaker sound system. The dealer has the truck listed at $34855. I have worked him down to $32k. Should I expect more or take this deal? I offered $30800 but dealer said no. Just curious bc I also have the same truck at another dealer minus navigation and sub for $30533. Thanks for you input.

Take the deal thats very strong on a new Tacoma. That is right around invoice. I would say no too if i was offered anything below invoice.

You should be able to get it for the 30,800 you offered. Stick to your guns and go to a different dealer. I'm going with the following deal from a dealer tomorrow. Truck same as your spec but no navigation and white. Listed at 33,848. Getting it for 29,798 plus ttl. Invoice is 31,400

What dealer are you using? Let me know if you purchase the truck. I'm off next week and I might have to make a trip to save a couple thousand. When you go to the dealer ask them if they give a "kickback" if you bring them a buyer. If so I'll split it 50/50 with you.

Will do! Does your dealer match pricing? That's how I'm getting mine so cheaper. Kept take the lowest dealer offer to the other two dealers I was talking to and they would meet or beat the price then I just started the process over again until I got to where they all would go lower then went with the best dealer.

The trucks are almost exactly the same. There are 2 differences in the trucks(navigation and 7 speaker sound system). The offer the salesman gave was $32749. I told him about the other truck at $30533. I asked him about the $2,200+ difference in these 2 options. He dropped down to $32k and said that was the lowest his salesmanager would let him go. I'm gonna wait a couple days and see if he contacts me. If not I'm gonna drop by the dealer and talk to the salesman and salesmanager to see what their final price is. If the price is not what I want it to be, I'll walk away. If they wanna sell the car to me, they'll have to deliver it to me because I won't drive back down there. My truck has 127k miles so its not like I need a new truck. I just want one.
