:spy: Hate to burst a few bubbles but I bring in parts and pick up finished products at a major producer of riding mowers, lawn and garden equipment. The orange ones....sssshhhhhhh. Well, on any given day those crates don't always contain the orange ones. Actually they make mowers for about a half dozen "other" companies. I bring in bulk powder materials for the powder coat processes and the totes are marked specifically for the "other" manufacturers with their names and the models. So along with the "orange" there is "red"...(O'Lay) there is "black"...(nice tools too) etc etc etc...

Then after I get done with the dropping off part, I drive over to the shipping side where they'll load crates of finished mowers. The crates have the "other" names on them if that's what they are shipping today. I could have 20 riding mowers crated up on one trailer and 5 different brands.

It's like the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Corolla thingie....

Not a big deal though. If your happy with what ya got, enjoy.

That's more for the craftsman weedeater brand stuff. When you get to the pro stuff, not bragging just informing, scag is really scag and walker is definatly walker and wrights are wrights. but yeah I definatly agree with you with the home depot, walmart, and sears stuff.

I have a walk behind Honda and love it...second one I had. As far as a riding lawn mower I have a Kubota diesel. G series and has about 13 hp.

Consumer reports basically said Husky, Honda and craftsman or any lawnmower with a kohler or honda engine....:)

My dad has an old Snapper push mower that was passed down to him from his dad. It's a little over 30 years old! And still runs great. Amazing. The only problem is now when I go home to visit, I'm the one that has to mow his lawn. But, it starts 1st pull every time. If he hands it down to me, I'm gonna put some Seafoam through it and then add some Mud Terrains:)

Do you cut commercially or is that Toro just for your yard. Either way that's a great cut.

Just my other hobby. I worked at a golf course for 10 years mowing. I built a 54" roller that goes behind the mower that make the stripes.

Nice tee. I was wondering why those strips stood out soooo much. Do you bag or discharge cuz that cut looks so clean?

Yes it does make it last longer and hold it's value, hopefully. haha.

Oh, i didn't put two and two together. Chestnut proves our point that Walkers are the best. Right.

I haven't been over on lawnsite very much recently cuz I'm spending all my online time here, haha.

Here's Chestnuts work for those of you who don't know. It's truly amazing.

Walker is the manufacterer. It's made in Fort Collins, Colorado. It's a smaller company compared to Deere and exmark. It's family owned.

I have the Model C with the 42 inch GHS deck.

    Here's their site.
