A majority of Christians wouldn't agree at all with most of what you said.

Many believe there is absolutely nothing that hasn't already been proven to be true and non-contradictory in the bible.

As all things about faith, you believe what you want and others believe differently.

I see it as a repeat of what has been believed and described similarly centuries before Jesus. Jesus is just a repeat of dozens of other gods of virgin birth the died and rose 3 days later. All based on winter solistice, and the sun rising again leading to longer days. Christians simply made a final version that wasn't "Pagan" based, to gain control.

Yeah, AZ4x4, you lost me when it said that the Word of God was written by man and is therfor fallible. Thats a large falsehood. God's word is infallible. How the Bible was wrotten is translated from greek as 'God-breathed', meaning every wors that's in there is as God intended it to be. There is nothing contradictory in it, and it has been used as an archaelogical map for centuries helping scientists and historians prove what we know of history. Its the oldest record of the Earth we have.

A fun one to ponder, science needs evidence to be proven; there's no one that has seen an ape turn into a man, or any form of evolution for that matter, but on the flip side we have an eyewitness account of creation. God was there, and God wrote the history into the Word for us. I'll leave that one there but it's interesting to think about. If you can trust that there is a God who made us, then you should have no problem with Creationism.

As far as the free will versus predestination goes, that's a big circular argument, but ultimately God isn't tied to our logic. Why should He be bound to only what we can grasp? Just because it doesn't make sense to us does not make it less true. The fact is, you can't read Romans 9 without first reading 8. They seem to contradict, but any good theologian will tell you that the answer to the argument of calvinism vs. armenianism is yes

And your other question of God being a physical being, yes, His name is Jesus and there's abundant historical record of His life, death, and resurrection. God the Father is almost always described as light in the scriptures. When Moses snvountered Him on mount zion his face had to be hid from view afterward because it shone with the glory of God.

Look God created the earth and women! Women have boobs! Boobs are good! So therefore we conclude creation and boobs!

Why does he need to be created in your mind? Why couldn't he just be? He introduced Himself to Moses as the "I Am", which is in a sense saying he just exists.

And to answer the question of why are we created, as in why did God make us...I think that since God is inherently perfect, without pride or sin in any form, and He's also the embodiment of love.... He Himself is love....I think He created us so that we could enjoy Him. Now that sounds arrogant as all get out, but remember, He's literally perfect. His heart is to share His glory with us so that we can experience it.

So you see it as a gap in time? Do you think that could be because there was no one there to record history? Or perhaps since time is bound to physics, and in Genesis it says that there was NOTHING, and God created the heavens and the earth, that time began when He began it. If you study physics long enough you'll start to ask yourself who started the clock, because it absolutely has to have an origin.

And believe me, I won't take offense to anything in here, but I will try to steer you toward what I believe to be truth. Because in my mind, I have nothing to lose, but those who don't know God, have EVERYTHING to lose.

This is the first time I have seen a civil debate between people who believe in God and those who don't

The only way to heaven is through Jesus, John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

To further expound on it, Jesus is saying that a personal relationship with Him is the only way to Heaven.

Haha I really believe the discoveries are just going to lead us to more of God. Yes we'll have more defined answers tomorrow, but I still think we're explaining how God did it. Life cannot begin on it's own, science has proven that over and over this century.

It's honestly not an effort to put God in the places we don't understand, moreso it's a realization that it simply doesn't matter when God is the answer to literally every question anyway. I know it all sounds too good to be true and like the easy way out of sll sorts of hard questions but hey, truth is truth, and I genuinely believe that when God said He created the heavens and earth, He meant it.

Yeah, but belief is an overused word in this instance. If I truly believe that a man in history literally laid down his life after living it perfectly without ever harming another human being and in fact healing countless and loving thousands in both word and deed, shouldn't that affect me in a profound way? I can tell you the answer is absolutely yes. You'll get me weeping anytime I realize it. Someone literally died for me. He died for you, and for my wife and daughter, all of us. All so we could know Him.

So yes, I do think that accepting the cross and what that meant is a huge piece of salvation. I just think people need to let it sink in more.

He gave us all the instruction we require in the ten commandments. If people did those things RELIGIOUSLY the world would be drastically different. Man's pursuit of knowledge isn't because God didn't give us the answers, its because He gave us free will. An answer book would be forcing our hand, something I believe scripture says He's incapable of doing.

No, I don't believe there is anything in scripture that even points to 'losing your salvation'. The question then becomes a trickier one though, because if you confess your sins and go out and kill 30 people, did you REALLY BELIEVE God's word to be true? If the love of God had REALLY touched your life would you still be capable of doing that?
