Something like this, but only accessible from the underside. You'd manually turn it to engage it into the track system.

Why are you so damn smart?

Do you think going with 3 boards is better than one? It may leak a little more but will more accessible to take things in and out.

With a short bed, I'd go with 2 boards, hinged in the middle with a rubber piece on the underside so any water leakage would be directed toward the outside. If you put weather stripping where the 2 pieces hinge together, so the weather stripping gets compressed when you lay the boards flat, that should stop most of your water infiltration.

That will have to be included in the phase 2 of the custom tonno mod lol. I wanna see if I can get two/three boards attached and locked in from underneath today. I have a ton on my plate already planned after work... Damn it.

I made one for my ford ranger back in the day . Aluminum frame that bolted together and black cheap leather from the fabric store on rt18 in Whitman . Not sure if its even there anymore . Cost me $100 in materials but that was 10years ago .

Wish I could find a job where I am happy. SCD isn't my cup of tea way to old school. All carbed work. Mazda is ehh we have a new service manager and he's a straight up cocky asshole. If there is no work he sends me and the other tech I work side by side with home, like the fuu. He said my box is disgusting but I shut him up walking out the door "Everything you see is worth more than your car" I'm not worried about him moving it out the door like he's said before when arguing

Dave, since you are the local Ford guru, I found an old but never worn Ford hat when cleaning out my back room. Want it? It's Ford blue, has the oval on the front and "Built Ford Tough" on the back. It's actually a nice hat, just never wore it. Dealership gave it to me after they royally screwed up my brakes and I called them on it.

I think the B's outplayed Chicago most of this game. They stole it. Kinda like the Bruin's vs. Toronto. Disappointing though. Oh well:(
