Had it washed at work. Last night while grabbing a 6 pack out of the back, a can dropped exploded and shot all over my truck (and me). All clean again.

Got it at Wheelers offroad. Was about 80 bucks shipped.

Well the only test I've done so far is the "haul ass over speedbumps test" it feels just a touch stiffer than before but not as much as i thought it would. I'm happy with it so far.

Got LED rope strand from http://www.superbrightleds.com/ sized up and cut to 3 different lengths to mount under the rails of the truck bed. Used 3m outdoor double sided tape to mount to rails. Soldered them together, ran to a switch right next to the tailgate, inside the bed. Wired along the break lines to the battery, and used a 3 amp inline fuse to connect to battery. Pretty easy took a few hours. Hardest part was soldering

tried the 55w fog light bulbs in the tail light trick for the backup lamps.
the bulbs were bright, but did not cast a very good flood behind the truck.
i suspect that it was due to the length of the bulb and being outside the reflector's center of focus.

Put the standard bulbs back in and installed this Rigid Industries LED flush mount 2 LED light with diffused lens (for wide spread).

OMFG, is it bright. Simply brought the leads to the wires for the backup lamp and soldered/taped.

Thought I'd see if I needed a second light on the other side. Nope. This one is plenty of light for reverse.

Look like the spyder ebay lights, and they just swap right in I believe. They aren't very good quality lights though...
