    No, I meant the color of the spacer I didn't order... I sat this one out to see how they perform.


    On a more serious note, can anodizing peel or flake? I noticed xmods only had the outter ring of his colored but the OP anodized the entire part.

    Any proper anodizing cannot. It becomes a part of the aluminum while also hardening it like an outer shell.

    Heat can change the color of it though.

    I think his was painted?

    Mine is bare aluminum on top, but anodizee the rest of the way around. That is due to being re-machined.

    The process of anodizing would make it difficult to just do the outer perimeter.
