Thx. Just derped the grill after thinking about it for a while. Didn't like the chrome at all. Once I save a little $ I hope to color match the grill then satoshi of some sort.

I hear ya I gotta do something about my front grille too, I don't mind the rear bumper being chrome but hate the front grille. What size tires and wheels did you go with? All stock suspension I assume?

Yea, everything stock as far as suspension and tires. I guess some would describe mine as a mall crawler since I just use it as a pickup and not for rock crawling or off-roading much. Great for trips to the Depot and for the places I hunt. Really no need for a lift other than it looks cool.

that's what mine will be considered minus the weekend trips to the hatfield-mccoy trails where I gotta go off road to camp out. I'm looking to stay stock suspension as well, or if push comes to shove maybe get some 5100's and test out the .85 or 1.75 setting. nonetheless, like your setup  might go with some moto metal 951's myself.

That's where my thinking is now too. On the other hand, I put a full OME suspension on my '98 Tacoma when the TRD OR suspension went soft and saggy.

It raised it up enough that I needed to upgrade to 32s from the 31x10.5 that it came with just to make it look right. I definitely liked the "After" picture's lift and look, but what got me was how much better it handled EVERYTHING, on or off road, corners, loads, you name it.

I confess. I want that again. My stock 2011 with the OR suspension is nice enough, but it's not as good as what I had and I miss the old.

Oh well...like everything else these days, it just takes a plan and mo' money...and I'm only half way there.

Yours is looking good, a plan and mo' money coming together!

Nice, but the side step would be crushed on my first trail outing../.
