    Hey guys

I drive on very soft sand often. Do you guys disengage the rsca and anti slip before you hit the beach? I've never taken a newer truck on the beach myself. My old jeep was put in 4x4 and go, no anti slip options. Any mods for the undercarriage that would help keep sand out of the important areas. I'm not off roading. I just take air out and rarely go above 10-15mph. Always air back up and rinse off later that day.

RSCA turns off the roll sensing side curtain airbags. I only turn them off when I know I will be crawling over something and the truck will be at severe angles.
Not necessary when just driving slowly over sand.
When I had the stock rugged fails, I drove in pretty soft sand without having to air down. Now with the duratracs, I need to either air down, or be in 4LO with ATRAC active or I'll get stuck.

I don't have the trd package so I don't have altrec. Thanks for letting me knw what the rsca was. No need to shut that off. I always air down, you can instantly feel the difference.

I don't think he remembers how to drive on the beach. You need a running truck to do that.

Pressing a button is easier than airing down. Why not if it works :p

I too drive on the sand relatively often. You say you air down and hit 4x4....

...I would also hold down the VSC button for 5 seconds while stopped and turn off the VSC and ALSD. this will give you more of the same feel your Jeep had...
