I have myself a double cab prerunner. I have TRD exhaust and cold air intake. It sounds better than any stock tacoma i have seen. And better than most aftermarket exhaust. I have noticed a little bit of a performance difference but not enough to make a difference. But i would definitely recommend the TRD exhaust to anyone!

I can't imagine my truck without the TRD exhaust it has a very nice deep tone and not very loud. The little kids next door says it sounds like a monster truck lol!

I have it and like it over the stock. My 2009 was almost too quiet. As far as power I have no idea because I only have 500 miles on truck. I would think that like any exhaust that provides better air flow you would get a little better throttle response out of it. May notice a little bit towing too. Cruising on he highway it is relatively quiet. I really notice the sound when in to the gas and at certain rpms. At 50 mph and 1500 rpms it is much louder than 65 and 1800.

I love the way my TRD exhaust sounds. It's not very loud at all but creates a nice low tone when cruising in the streets.

The TRD exhaust and breather are dealer install only? What kind of price were you all charged for the total install? Im about the to jump on a new '13 and am trying to decide weather or not to add these parts.

Don't have to get it installed at the dealer. They will probably charge you around 500 or so for it installed.

It took literally 20 minutes to install. Couldn't be easier.

I have had a TRD exhaust on my truck since about 300 miles. I now have 20,000 miles on the truck and still love it. No to loud inside the cab. In can carry on a normal conversation without having to yell over the sound of the exhaust. Defenatly worth the money.

I had the TRD exhaust installed today on my new 4x4 double cab V6. Only has 200 miles on the truck and about 5 miles on the exhaust. For $59 I thought why not let them install it. Will it quiet down? For me it is very loud in the cab. Could there be an exhaust leak?

I'm use to having louder performance type exhausts having an X5M and an M3 but this is obnoxious. Noise seems to be a lot of higher pitched exhaust noise and drone. Parts guys at the dealer said it will quiet down after some miles are put on it. Is this true? If not might be coming off.

TRD Cat-back Exhaust. Semi-Debadged. Trimmed down stock Antenna. Weathertech vent visors. TRD FJ Cruiser Center Cap Wheel Mod. 265/75/16 Firestone Destination A/T,s . Inverter tapped into for outlet in cab. Tacomaworld sticker which adds 5 hp.
Yeah, that's what I paid through Toyota. At the time I couldn't order one anywhere else for the DCSB. Only had the long bed. Check online first, you might find a better price. And don't pay for installation, do it yourself. Easy job, took me about 30 mins in my driveway, hardest part of the job is taking the spare tire out. LOL.

I did not have in on my 2009 and it was too quiet. I would not pay the bucks to add the full TRD as an add on after purchase. My 2013 came with it and at 1.3% I hardly notice the diff in the monthly payment. Hopefully it will not scare the deer on the way to my blinds this season. I have noticed no diff in mileage or power but last truck was a Prerunner and not 4wd.

I really want to pick one of these exhausts up soon for my 13 DCSB. I'd do the CAI as well but there isn't a TRD for the 12/13 that I'm aware of and I'm undecided on which aftermarket unit to go with.

Hey Stump Jumper, who are you financed with. I think I need to make some phone calls. Lol.

Afe will take care of you..... they also do things right unlike K&N when they screwed up the last "trd" intake.

Cap One. I told dealer during negotiations that I needed 1.79 or below and they came back with 1.69. During signing the finance guy offered extended warranty and dropped rate to 1.29. I asked if he would have oferred lower rate without warranty and when he said yes I rolled my eyes and said fine I will take without warranty. Also, for the person that has 500 miles the parts guy is correct they do get quieter.
