I put beer on the floorboard of the back seat of a car in a bag coming home from the beach last week, because I didn't have a cooler. It was with a bottle of bloody mary mix from the fridge, and a handle (plastic listerine bottle) of vodka that had been in the freezer, all in a plastic grocery bag. WITHOUT a cooler, by the time I got home the beer was still 50* (checked it with an instant read because I was shocked it still felt cool to the touch, definitely cool enough for me to drink), and I parked it for 45 min for lunch coming home, where the interior had to have gotten over 100 degrees for a good bit of that time.

    Interesting data I thought.

Unfortunately enough it was 6 mich ultras but there were also 2 coronas. Coworker left them at the beach b/c they couldn't fly out with them and I was the only one driving. Good thing too. I didn't need to go ice-man mode and get hit by a train. Phew. Narrowly avoided that one, lol.

I usually get a Coleman cooler myself, as I can't see spending that kind of cash on a Yeti. Of course it all depends on what you use the cooler for. When I was doing some serious camping with the kids we would be off the beaten path for up to 4 or 5 days. This means that we needed to keep our food and drinks cold, while getting into the coolers almost every day. What we finally ended up with was 4 medium sized coolers. Each cooler was packed for one day of food and drink. That way the other coolers would NEVER get opened until the day they were supposed to. The day 3 and day 4 coolers were packed with dry ice as well as regular ice. Never had a problem with warm drinks or spoiled food!

I keep seeing a silver 2nd gen taco around my area (deatsville / millbrook / pratville area) with a blacked out satoshi grill and a blacked out lower valance. I think it's extended cab and a prerunner. Is it anyone on here? They're always close to the gas stations off of the pine level exit.

There are a few that are in that area. I am not too far away. I mean not next door, but only 35-40 minutes from Montevallo.

I think you misread what I meant. Bill is currently working on the other members truck, the one from Millbrook, al.

Bills truck is in working order, by the way. He drove it to the Rodeo. He said he still has some things to do to it though.

i believe there are a couple of guys in the millbrook area (dtmcray, and the one whose truck is at bills, and i think one other), and a handful that dont seem to post very often in the montgomery area.

He said something about the axles when I asked him. Can't remember exactly what he was doing to them.
