I know not a lot of people like them, myself included but $600 for almost new tires is making me think hard about it. I was originally planning on mtr's and those are $1100 installed at discount tire..

My geolander's only have 10k miles on them and I should be able to get at least $400 easy out of those too

So I was looking at tires for after I lift my truck and noticed something. Can someone tell me why the hell a 33x12.50x15 costs more than a 35x12.50x15?? Something to do with demand maybe?

    33's
    http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/ca...adowQuantity=3&cartItemId=-1044859104&x=9&y=7

    35's
    http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/ca...adowQuantity=4&cartItemId=-278696811&x=11&y=3

If this is the case I might just say fuck 33's and go straight to 35's. How will 4.10 gears pull them and will I have to tub the firewall on 5100/eibach's for street driving? Mpg doesn't really matter right now since I work 4 miles away but about how much drop can I expect if i'm getting 19 now?

My boss built this box for a trailer awhile back and didn't want it so he gave it to me for free! Exactly what I was looking for and it fits. Super skinny and just for tie downs, cables, and other stuff I don't want in my cab. Also got a dremel ultra and some ammo boxes from him too

That's what I plan to do! Go straight to 35s instead of 33's,4:10s will struggle up hill and what have you but I think flat ground and downhill youll be fine :D.. but for your short commute I say go for it! & you probably will have to tub the firewall some, but why not just go ahead and do it.. I have eibachs/5100's as well but a ton of weight on my front end but tubbing it wont be an issue for me so im game for it! but my wheels are also 4.5 backspace so ill probably just get some new ones sometime. MPG's id guess maybe 5 or so? I get around 18.5-20 on good days but I could deal with 14-15 for a little while as id likely swap gears soon after

I have no problem with tubbing either, just wondering if it would be neccessary for street driving. What gears are you going to go with for 35's? Long term I want to do a simple sas with a waggy 44, leafs, and 37's max so I don't want to regear the front then cut it out.. Also I don't want to gear for 35's then go to 37's.

Regear to 4.56 if you go to 35s. Most def feel slugish with stock gearing and 35s. I would start a thread to see if anyone is running stock gearing with 35. I geared to 4.56 with the thought of running 35 in the future. I know that I love my gears with my 305s. Especially wheeling with them. Throw it on dl and 4 lo and it pretty much creeps over obstacles. Sometimes I have to turn on my front arb. Love the gears though.

I was thinking 4.88's but long term I want to be on 37's. Would 4.88's pull those too? I'm trying to avoid gearing twice.

5.29 gearing would be better suited for 37"s, minimum 4.88. But that's how it was for my old toyota.

Heck yeah. 4.88 would be the way to go in that case. Nitro gears!

That's why im just going to run stock gears and 35's for the little time im home and not working & when I sas ill goto 5:29s for both 35's street tire and 37's trail tire but may do 4:88 and when coupled with the twin sticks should be plenty!

i don't know if you have a manual or auto but 5.29's with a manual super charged and 37's is perfect :D
