Since it was Darwin who thought up the theory of evolution 'Origin of The Species', I agree with him when he states in that book " when you look at the human eye and all of its intricacies even I have a hard time believing it just happened that way". Agreed, extremely hard to believe! I can't prove creation anymore than evolution, but it takes more faith to believe in evolution.

Big Bang Theory... When I built my house I did not throw sticks of TNT into the forest and a house appeared from the bang!

Where are all the missing links? If Evolution is true every stage of it would exist all the time, no gap from ape to man.

There would be no extinct species, evolution would prevent it.

Creation and the Bible... How long did most believe in a flat earth yet the Bible described the earth as round. Most scientists today agree there was only one land mass on earth and at some point in history it separated into the continents we have today. Once again the Bible describes this in the story of the flood and how God raised the mountains and separated the land to help the water recede.
There is evidence of creation, needless to say I do believe creation.

You haven't really tried to understand evolution by your comments. Evolution requires extinction, and doesn't require all stages at once. Those are just your thought backed by nothing.

You aren't too critical about what you consider evidence either.

How old do you believe the world to be based on the bible?

Here's my problem with evolution. Most things as we know them now would have died in a 'halfway evolved' state. Imagine if fish hadn't fully developed gills, or the birds that fly thousands of miles and lose 40% of their total weight on the journey that almost kills them every year? They'd plummet into the ocean and cease to exist as we know them. With an overwhelming amount of species they simply wouldn't have made it unless they started out complete.

If I didn't believe He did I think you'd have a strong argument there. It takes faith to believe both sides, personally I think there's far more proof of creation than there is evolution. There's too much art and beauty in inanimate creations to believe it was an accident. All those things, to me, point to our creator.

Lol I was wondering when you'd pull that out Jamie. Also I hate that new google feature. The problem with it is, God didn't condemn us. Everyone likes to blame God for sin but all He did was let us choose him or the alternative, we decided to choose the alternative.

    fixed...

wouldn't that have been on adam and eve and their "kids" for all the incest that created the peoples of the world? wouldn't the same thing have needed to happen after the whole world was flooded except for noah's folks and animals? the entire world populations (pre/post flood) were created by 2 incestuous families?

forgive me if i have some thoughts wrong there, but after a southern baptist upbringing i had to dump most of it out for more substantial things like lyrics and movie quotes.

By your statement you feel those who beleive "GOD did" the unexplainable use this term as a cop-out... What do you believe? And why do you resort to your beliefs when asked why/ how you were created?

    Excuse me... Or evolved?

Well, Adam and Eve weren't brother and sister, eve was created from
Adams rib, but yeah that's a tough one to figure out because their kids were definitely siblings. That's one where I'll have to ask God when I get to heaven because it really doesn't make sense to my brain either honestly. Hahaha

i was pint more towards the kids, not adam and eve...but...

wasnt she technically a part of him (the rib), so he screwed himself and had kids that then had other kids? Genesis 5:4-5 makes it even weirder since adam then had other "too shitty to be mentioned" sons and daughters...

Ehhh part of him yeah, but I don't think genetically they were anything we'd call siblings today. But yeah the kid stuff is weird, to be honest. I'm sitting down with my dad for dinner (I'm a 3rd generation church leader) so I'll ask him what his thoughts are. I'm just as curious as you haha

So the bible confirms Pangea, which existed hundreds of millions of years ago?

But isn't the creationist timeline only several thousand years?

    Legit question

If you wonder, you can look into what evolutionary science thinks about those topics. Your speculation about most things dying halfway evolved is nothing like what science thinks. Your problem may be you would rather not try to understand the science.

The plotted movement of continents is known and has been traced
There were actually several "super continents" after pangea and before what we have today
