As a four-time Jeep owner (three CJ, one YJ) I can assure you that the "Jeep Wave" is simply an acknowledgement of mutual suffering. Each driver is saying in his mind (often aloud, even) "Doesn't this suck?" or "I love how much this sucks" or even "I wish this sucked more." Misery, as they say, loves company. I had a great time with all of my Jeeps, but driving my Tacoma (and the '05 Tundra before it) has never sucked. I think a lot about the next cool place I will go, and not so much about whether or not I am carrying enough spare parts and tools to get from A to B.

Natural selection... Not enough of it.

Mike, I grew up a little yesterday and utilized the "Buddy Jesus" on this stupid bitch who was trying to drive like an idiot and cut me off. Man oh man, does that chap their ass.

Mine was early 30's..and added onto quite a bit over the years. We have zero storage, only closet is in the hall so we have to really get creative. One was using a fancy TV cabinet as an armoire..we bought a 6 drawer bed frame..made storage for out of season clothes in the cathedral side of the ceiling. Festive!

I figured you were having fun with it..but seeing as you are not only a transplant but a New Yawker, never hurts to make sure..

 I will do that at times, just give them the smile and wave! I commute with all the idiots who can't be bothered to actually look up from their smart phone and pay attention so I have a lot of fun on my daily drive. Someone this morning almost caught my sliders trying to change lanes into me. They were close enough where I cringed and just waited to hear the scraping sound!

I'm an upstate New Yorker though, not a New Yawker. There's a reason 99% of the state doesn't want to be assocaited with NYC!

My drive is back roads, but that can still be an adventure. Daily I foam at the mouth when people don't use their fkn turn signals at a rotary..drives me apeshit. Although nowadays I can just flip the switch for the lightbar and have a little fun that way.

Truth be told, I spent a year in White Plains when I was 5-6. That area was so nice in that every basic need (groceries, playground, church and the like) were a block away. Block defined as 20 houses end to end, that is. We needed a car so my dad could drive 4 miles to work.

I am bad at that. I seldom use my directional around town. I use for lane changes on the highway but not so much any where else

Mine isnt a 1906 fixer upper, just a 1959 that had previous owners with horrible taste.

To date Ive redone the entire yard, used about 20yrd of dirt. Built a patio, gutted and refinished a bathroom, gutted/finished the laundry room, now its the nursery.

I still remember a few weeks ago blowing the horn at some scum douche who didn't use theirs 5 turns in a row. I pulled into the Cumby's near me and as luck would have it so did they..it was a fellow probably early 50's or so who looked at me funny and asked why I beeped at him. I said I'm sorry I guess you didn't know your turn signals were broken. He had no clue what I meant, I said well I've been behind you and had no idea where you were going b/c you didn't use them. You better get them fixed, I see your inspection sticker is coming up..or was that an option you skipped on this car..haha
