So many people say they absolutely love their duratracs, and then I come here and see you bastards bashing them left and right haha. I really thought I was set on them as a year round tire, but I'm doubting my judgement now. I do offroad quite a bit in the summer but its mostly light trail rides with a little rock crawling and mud. Tons of snow in the winter though, that's what attracts me.

Yeah I love my current coopers but I want something more aggressive and better in snow. Last time I looked the coopers were way more expensive though.

I have no idea. I'd think they would be cheaper spwhich is why we switched. We get a lot of flats tho...one or two a week.

But..roads up here are dog shit. Rough and nails and lord knows what else.

Jeez, it took you long enough. I dunno man, I'd let it cure for a few more weeks before exposing it to handling and/or sunlight

So I have some aux lights I want to wire up. Two up converted HID's in the front and two blitzpro LED's in the back. The switch will go in the clock location. Can I tap into the power going to the clock for the LED's? There is an un-used spot in the fuse box for fog lights which I do not have. Can I hook up the hella's to that?

Should I post this in the electrical section? I just know this thread gets a fuck ton of traffic. I know I can get a fuse block and go that route but I don't really plan on adding anymore aux lighting.

Thanks for the vid, after the pro 2 and 4 series torx trucks came and raced i noticed the muffler like that and liked it, but wouldn't it be easier for water to get to your engine?

Could I suppose, If I went in crap that deep.. but as long as you keep the motor running shouldn't be a problem... I wanted to get a boat tip, that had an internal flap that would close if the engine shut off. but there expensive.

Have you looked at the Interco Trxus yet? Seriously think it would be a great tire for Alaska. Only downside would be maybe a bit noisy, but for an aggressive tire, what do you expect?

Also I did an oil change, changed the gear oil in the front and rear diffs and replaced the oil in the transfer case. Transmission is next as long as I can find some GL-4.
