30 and younger thread

i was raised in the way that you can either go to school or work, at 16 when you can get a job, You want somthing like a car? you get a job. We can cosign and help you get financed but we will pay for anything, Not even gas. You keep your shit clean you do all your shit and they will gladly let you live here past 18

 

Same. I've always told my parents that I'd get a job but they didn't want me to. They wanted me to focus on school. That way I'd be able to support myself later on. We do have a couple family businesses that I help with though.

 

Because thats the wrong way to raise a kid, Hes gonna have a hard time in life because mom and dad isnt always going to be there plus hes going to be Selfish, greedy, Cocky...

Its just not the way to raise a kid.

 

i'm being raised we pay for your school,and car, but you get a job, we'll pay for gas and insurance, but if you get in a accident that's your fault you pay for insurance.
we also have to pay our own phone bill if we want a smart phone.

 

Ive been put on my grandmas phone and car insurance. I pay the bill i do a ton of chores. but i graduated

 

My parents pay for my school and allow me to live at home for free but everything else is on my own, clothes, food (other than family meals), truck payments, etc

 

Ugh, I need sliders and a plate bumper! Crushed in the corner of my valence and slammed my frame onto a rock today. No damage, other than a bunch of dents in my stock skids.

 

x2. I've been lucky enough to get help from my parents financially and I've never taken it for granted. I know the value of hard work and money.

 

This is another key to all this. You have to have some respect, and not take things for granted.
