    I would if I had sliders purchased already, I'm going to go with 4xinnovations but they need to be welded together so i didnt know anyone near by that could help me out

    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    Also an easy fix with a drill and steel brush bit. How much you want for them?

    I have the same sliders just for a 2nd gen. You may have to do two trips. The best way to install them is to mock them up to get you're angles and tac them together. Then unclamp them from the truck then finish welding them off the truck. Paint them off the truck leaving the frame plates bare, then weld them on the truck they are a nice product.:)

    They look great! Did u go with the DOM or the other one? And is there the option once you weld all the parts together if you can bolt onto the frame or does it have to be welded onto the frame also

    plenty of people have made them weld on. just need to drill a bunch of holes and buy some hardware

    I went with the DOM tubing. There are holes in the frame plates if you want to bolt them on but you have to watch where you put the legs so you can get to the back side of the frame. I ended up plug welding the holes.

    sounds good. from what i hear, bolt ons are stronger than welding onto the frame... either way I'm not trying to hit something really hard :eek:
    if its easier to be welded on frame then thats the way i will go

    That is one of those on going arguments of which on is stronger. I feel either way they are both very strong. I just wasn't crazy about drilling holes in my frame.:)

    I almost went with the bolt ons, but the weld on where a little cheaper and I liked how I could adjust the angles to my liking. That and I have a brother Inlaw that can weld and fabricate just about anything.

    Worked 8-4:30 today and then had to be back at work at midnight. At 8 I decided to get a shower and try to take a nap. When I turned on the hot water I only had cold, so I went to the basement and found that the pressure relief valve took a shit and my water heater had been continuing to empty in to my basement... :(

    I'm thinking of welding on my bolt ons as well, simply because last Rausch trip I got hung up on one of the bolt heads that bolts them to the bottom of the frame.

    That sucks dude, hope the damage isn't too bad.

    Damage is minimal.. Everything will dry out. Less than an inch of water. Just annoying really.

    Basement is not finished. Might have to take off a few sheets of plywood from the halfpipe to make sure it doesn't get moldy underneath.

    Get a dehumidifier. I have had water in my basement almost since Sandy. It drys up but every time we get a lot of rain I get more water.:mad:

    I just have the hose hooked up and ran it to the pump pit. It works good even with having water down there for a couple month no mold or musty smell.
