    Hey all,

I've been lurking here over the past month becoming an educated consumer about the truck I was about to buy, so a belated thanks is in order to everyone for all of the good information I have already found.

I just graduated from college last month and it was time for me to buy my first new vehicle....Last week I picked up my new TRD Sport double cab in Speedway blue. I know how you guys like pictures so I took a few with my phone (so excuse the poor quality).

It is completely stock at the moment, but I'm in the process of picking up a few things online to make it more my own. I will probably have lots of questions about installing some of this stuff in due time...

For nerf bars, I stumbled upon these "style steps" and ordered them in black with a chrome stripe, they haven't arrived yet but I will make sure to take some pictures when I get them on.

I'm still shopping around for a paint matched tonneau but I think Gaylord's X-2000 with the wing is the one I'm going to get. Only thing holding me back is that it's expensive, so if anyone has any experience with these I'd appreciate hearing what you have to say. Here's a pic

Here are the floormats I got off ebay for $50 new (I got the TRD ones)

I also ordered the OBX pedals for automatics

Thanks guys for the graduation congrats. As for a job, right now I'm helping a family member with his landscaping business and doing part time IT work and web design as well. I feel lucky to have any sort of work right now, as most of my friends that I graduated with are unemployed.

My long term plan is to get into law school, I've been studying for the LSATs which is a major undertaking. One good thing about my job is that is that its flexible enough for me to have time to study (and hopefully work on my new Tacoma!)

I searched a few reputable web sites and this is the picture they had for the 2nd Gen TACO OBX pedals......which look different from yours???? Did yours install OK? Real tight?

I haven't received mine yet so I'm not sure. The pic on the auction page shows the manual transmission, but it actually looks more like the one you posted than the image I used from google images. I'll take pics when I get it and let you know. Yes, I have heard they are a real pain to get on.

I'm dying for them to show up on my doorstep! I called yesterday to check on my order and was told they just finished fabrication and will ship that day. I will take pics and document the installation when they get here.

SWB is a great color, I've already gotten plenty of compliments on it, even from non-truck people such as my grandmother.
