You obviously don't understand your solar system. Methane liquid oceans on one moon of daturn while another is an ocean of liquid CO2 under a thick layer of ice on another. This is millions of miles from the sun. Not to mention water traces found on mars. The only reason err have not been able to verify life is because the technological level that we are at more did not allow us to explore that in depth at that distance. We are still discovering new species in this very planet


Btw your book of God only talks of this solar system. Please explain where all the others came from. Doing so with only the written word of God.

Verified yes, but directly of that source, no. If we are going to argue with science let us go directly to the source. Wiki allows for the manipulation of the source which discredites the find being that it is not the original source.

Here's something worth saying, if I'm wrong, and there is no afterlife, no heaven, no hell, no god....then I've only lived my life well, I've lived in a way that is beneficial to others and did my best to leave this world better than I found it. There's no risk for me in believing what I do.

The risk is only for those that DON'T believe. What if its all true? God, Jesus, salvation, heaven, hell....if you don't believe that and it IS true as I believe it is, you get to spend eternity in a lake of fire apart from god (that last part is the real punishment btw).

Looking at only risk management it makes far more sense to put my faith in Christ. And no, you can't plead your case to God at the end and expect Him to let you in based on works alone. Scripture is very clear on this issue.

 

I think I know what you're asking Pete, and honestly I'll have to ask someone who understands these questions better than I. I know that scripture says that we follow Christ so we can have life and "have it to the full", so it could be that said without God life is far less than it has potential to be. That I have personally experienced. Life without God was miserable for me.

 

So you better believe what EVERY faith believes, because your risk management only covers one of many.
