yep, that's the one (and the one that Ryan posted). they have a few different styles, with two of them being readily available in the US. the original is the best though.

the vanilla porter isn't too dark as far as porters go, but is very very delicious.

anything from Delirium is good. their two common ones are "tremens" and "nocturnum". They also make one called "Noel", but as you can imagine, that one is most easily found around the holidays. totalwine may have it though.

And if that's not enough, I've never had a bad brew from Great Devide Brewing Co. Potentially my favorite beer of all time was their Stone Smoked Porter, but it was discontinued about a year and a half ago :(

If you're looking for something local, Cigar City has a number of great beers, usually leaning towards the darker or hoppy side.

Another local is Florida Beer Co. which is actually out of Melbourne. I lived less than 2 miles from them  Their "Florida Lager" is pretty much what you'd expect from a Lager. If you Like IPAs though, you need to have the "Swamp Ape".

So that's my beer review for the night. I've got plenty more suggestions if you ever need ideas. There are some really good Barley Wines out there if you really want your mind blown.

you're on the right track  I don't drink those "typical" beers much either. i do enjoy a bud-lime when i'm working on the truck, but that's be cause it's like a lime water

The swanp ape can be hit or miss with a lot of people. It's a pretty intense IPA, so unless you really enjoy them, you won't enjoy it. I can see a lot of Total Winers getting more than they bargained for with that one.

it's good to see another young guy who doesn't think that drinking sierra nevada makes you a craft brew connoisseur lol

Sweetwater is solid. 420 is delicious! they've been around for a while but seem to have really caught on just recently. I'm happy they are growing, and have my fingers crossed for some new releases from them.

if either of you are in Melbourne, definitely go to a place called the mansion. it's right off of 192, just mainland of the causway. they have more beers than you could imagine on tap, including Breckenridge Vanilla Porter.

I dont know where they find these witnesses. None of them can tell the same story twice and all of their credibility has been shattered.
