My Build 96 4X4 V6

I got it about a year ago from a co-worker with 98,000 miles on it.

 

ugly bed liner sold for $20 on CL

 

Hated the color and it had to go.

 

I replaced plug wires, plug, belts, all fluids and greased the drive shaft. About 3,000 miles later ended up replacing the fuel injectors and since the manifold was off I painted it.

 

The previous owner had an amp installed and they must have not payed attention very well cause it eventually the tail lights quit working and so did the horn. After looking around I found this under the drivers side. So I fixed the harness and removed the screw

 

Wanting to change the color so bad and limited on cash I looked around for alternative paints and saw a lot of people using Rustoleum Industrial paint. With the limited color selection I leaned to this and popped the hood off and see how it looked. I liked it so much I decided to continue on. So I took the bed off and hit it up. and drove it like that for a while.

About a month ago I finally got enough time to really tear in to it so got to the rest here are some pics of the tear down. engine bay [IMG[/IMG] This was kind of complicated getting the back window disassembled to paint the frame

Then After a lot of looking around I picked out a lift. Went with the Biltein 5100, Eibach springs, Deaker AAL and Toytec 1" shackle.

 

Only got to the rear the first day. So I snapped a bro pic for everyone

 

I noticed some questions about how high this setup gets in the rear and in the front but didn't get a before pic of the rear. here is the after. Again Deaker AAL and a 1" Toytec shackle.

 

In the front Bilstein 5100 set at 0 with the Eibach/Toytec 3" spring. this time I got a before and after.

 

Here is how she sits today.

 

Almost forgot when I got the truck all lifted I didn't read anything about dropping the exhaust down until it was to late. I ended up taking the stock shackle and did this. Ended up working well.
