    The real question is, why doesn't the Tacoma come with a locking tailgate from the factory???

    I also need mine for a trip in a few weeks.

    As to why Toyota doesn't offer a tailgate lock, this has been asked many times and nobody really seems to know. Most guess is that they are trying to save ever penny on the base model. But why not offer it in some other trim packages like the DRL and VS wipers?

    P & L has been saying "next month" since I started looking since October and we are now almost 3 months since the closing of this group buy. :(

    I spoke to Pop Lock Friday. They told me that they were packaging them right now and would be shipping next week. I wouldnt hold your breath, but that is what they said. We shall see....
