Which ones are they? I ask because that seems a bit high for the 8 bulbs.

I did this mod over the weekend, and I did almost every light that I could access, its the best $15 I've spent in a while. I ordered mine from a vendor on ebay and I got 20 of each type of bulb and I still have plenty of them left over, even after doing my bro inlaw's Tacoma too.

I got them from different vendors, Coldtoo and Kunkunh2009. They don't say in the description that they are dimmable, but mine are and they are really smooth too without having big jumps in the dimness.

Do the math and add shipping. I'm not here to rip anyone off if that's what you're implying. These are from superbrightLEDs not Ebay either.

So, found out the hard way that scraping the orange paint off of the heater control bezel decal sucks. After screwing mine up, (Maybe I could have been more patient. Oh well.) I've decided to just buy the '02 4runner bezel. Gonna run to the stealership tomorrow to make sure I get the correct part.

superbrightleds.com or vleds is what I've seen the most. TW member Jumper sells leds too, I think.

Get the 360 degree 194 style.

Get the 360 degree bulbs from superb right led's, the place where most go wrong is that they don't get the 360 degree bulb

Thanks! I have some 360 degree ones in it right now but they just aren't that bright even when the rheostat is cranked. I'll be sure to pick some up soon

Hey so last week one of the lights went out on my dash, and I was getting ready to order the 194 LEDs. But then randomly another night I noticed that It was back on, and now its out again.

What could this be? Should I check other connections on the instrument panel when its out?

Also finally found a solid solution to anyone who wants to run blue or green AC panel lights but do not want to use a new face plate (personally stock faceplate is clean and adding a white one mucks up the whole section)

Turns out since 99-02 ( I believe) 4 runners used green lights they had clear white faceplates and knobs.

    Plates side by side:

Very happy with figuring out a solution to this.
