He paid for almost all of it and sold one of his Motorcross bikes to pay for the balance.

Lol I remember when I wanted a bigger truck. My parents told me suck it up so I couldnt buy one and gave me the 266K Mile Taco. Threw some money at it, made it look good. I get more compliments than the guys in their jacked up 1/2 tons and Diesels, specially from the ladies. Plus parking at a campus is a breeze!

    GLWS... Beautiful truck!

I just bought myself a used 03' and just starting to figure out what all I want to do with it, but I would love to have that truck from the looks and how it reads...

I got the bigger truck, 09' megacab Dually brownish color with the cummins' all cleaned up of the emission stuff that never worked on these model trucks. It gets 16mpg on the highway now, much improved from its 7 mpg with all the emission stuff; and it has quite the room in the back for whatever one could dream up and tows like nothin' else on the road, but being honest here, I just love these Tacoma's... I am thinking really hard about doing a diesel in mine...

Now if your son wants a bigger truck, heck I know what I would do in his place, I would just put a diesel in the Tacoma and not look back!!!

Heck, I can be up for adoption really fast also??? If your looking LOL... I am 55 years young and have lots of growing up to do just yet, if that helps any???

Looks like a really nice Yoda many of us would like to buy...

I bought my 99' SR5 TRD with 145,xxx miles for $9,500. It was in nearly perfect condition.
If that thing is stock you can get around $10,000 for it I would say depending on what part of the country you're in and their market value...

    No shit.

I got a '69 Buick... and only because I blew the engine.
Parents bought an Omega and told me the Buick was mine if I fixed it.

Ended up putting 200k on that car.

Nice truck. I had a '98 black 2-wheel drive. Sure do miss it. Maintenance was very ez. Too bad you're not close by.

Get 8k for sure, but remember that people are always going to try and negotiate the price you put out there (whatever that may be)...

    +1

It's a fine line. You'll get $2k less than asking price, but if you price it at $10k, it'll stay on the market for 6 months even if it's worth $8k.
