Yea and 4 days..actually 5 for you probably. Lot of miles and gas. But be worth it. I wouldn't plan on doing anything in Moab personally..wouldn't it be to close for school??

About the only way we could have time to do Hells Revenge like you want would be to leave CO early. Not sure I want to do that.

I do hear what you are saying tho. Its hard to think about driving thru Moab without hitting at least one trail.

Well ive been offroading for about 23 years mostly dirt bike and ATV I do no how to a pick a smooth line this is my first taco

 

I'm sure you will be fine once you get used to the size of your truck. Picking the right line is a fine art.

460's aren't much newer than the 260's. haha The 400 series and 200 series were basically identical setups. 1 on 1 they were practically on par. There were only 2 big differences. The 400 series ran DX11 and the 200 series couldn't and the 400 series paired up better when running SLI.

Nvidia skipped the 300's, so it went 200's, 400's, 500's, 600's and now they are on their 700's. haha So your 460's are almost as old as my 260 is now they are just more future proof since they support DX11.

Yea they are old..hell my CPU is a qx9750(look that up ) an old LGA775 socket ha!

Still eats games alive. Games haven't hardly moved out of direct x 9. A few on 10 and barely any on 11.

Yeah, realistically a CPU is a CPU, they are just getting more energy efficient and easier to overclock. A 4.1GHz quad core should handle anything you throw at it really.

The big thing with games is that even the ones that use DX11, you can turn those settings off so it can run on DX10 and back. You probably already know this, but DX10 and on back are all just updates of the same setup, which is why it wasn't a big deal when DX9 and DX10 were released, just a matter of downloading a new driver. DX11 is a whole new beast and the video card's hardware itself had to be redesigned to handle it. That is why there is very little difference between the 200 and 400 series. Nvidia was in a hurry to release some cards that support DX11. If they ever get around to releasing a DX12 it should be compatible with DX11 so it shouldn't be a big deal.
