Are there any pics of a SWB DC LB, stock everything, with blacked out rims and badges? my sister thinks she wants to black out her truck, but would like to see it done on a truck like hers.

That's actually Black Water creek that feeds into the Wekiva river which feeds into the St. John's. Nice little bend with lots of fish jumping but we didn't get a single bite. Then again we didn't stay long cause Kyle wasn't into all of the bugs.

And just wrapped the double DIN in vinyl carbon fiber to try and match the stock dash kit on either side of it:

Yeah, its vinyl. You buy it in a roll, cut it to size, and then use a heat gun to get all the bubbles/wrinkles out of whatever you put it on. If you don't like it, just peel it off.

Did you think about clearcoating it? Might do for an even closer match. Just an idea.

I actually hadn't considered that; its a good idea and I might actually give that a try. The vinyl wasn't as glossy as I expected from what I ordered. The pattern is extremely close though.

My other thought is to remove the original parts of the dash kit, and wrap them to make it uniform (around the vents and 4x4 selector, and the HVAC controls).

I would do this for sure. To me it looks way better than the factory stuff. And it would look so much more uniform together.

    OK SWB friends.. quick question.

My passenger side mirror cracked (the plastic) and is now missing a small chunk. While only cosmetic, it still drives me crazy looking at it. Any suggestions on a reasonable priced replacement (ideally, not some generic black one I have to paint....)?

Thats likely what I'll end up doing this weekend. It bothers me that it doesn't match, but it is at least an improvement over a bland double DIN filler plate haha.

Also did the panels around the window switches. Very pleased with how that turned out.
