    Moving the frame out so it doesn't taper in so the shackle will go through the frame and not hanging out off the side. Kinda like a 1st gen.

    Most people that have a custom bumper run tube of some sort. Some have a full-on bumper, others have just a single tube (like me) and some just have the spare tire carrier. I'm sure someone out there has a plate rear, but its rare.
    Tube is lighter and easier to work I think
