    Every guy always needs another

    pocketknife,

    flashlight,

well thought out compact emergency survival kit

Pretty much can never have too many of these things - as long as they're solid and work when expected.

(dull pocketknives, flashlights that turn on-off unexpectedly when you bump them, and emergency kit's that don't have fishhooks and water purification tablets need not apply)

EDIT: oh, and a bottle of fine scotch or cognac is also a possibility.

I don't know if you already have the wedding attire picked out, but A friend of a friend had some pretty nice sport coats tailored for the gm's and they wore them for the wedding and kept them as the gifts.

I think I like the knife idea. They already have suits, otherwise that would have been the first thing. We'll see how it goes, I still have a few weeks

These. Or something similar (diff country, other metals, etc) depending on how much you're looking at spending per gift. Definitely not traditional and will always have value.

Or a hamburger with bacon, and a Krispy Kreme donut as the bun?
    Don't see why not...

yea that was my biggest dilemma. Thanks for the input and advice. I normally don't cheap out but I had read good things about the icon progressive aal vs. the standard single aal.

I've always wanted a full quality setup. After thinking about everything though, I think I'm going to get the full OME 3" kit and TC UCA's I think it will ride great and give me the lift I want for the occasional off road trip. This vehicle is my DD and I'd rather not spend a ton on off road performance suspension. I am in the market, currently looking at older Toyota 4x4's that will be my designated trail rigs. I will be starting that build when I get back from Ft. Benning next fall. But for now, I think I'm totally content with the OME kit from Headstrong. New wheels/tires and I've got a great performing vehicle to get me across the country and some light trails along the way!

My brother brought all of us Vans shoes which we all wore during the wedding. A couple of the older invitees got a bit upset, but that only made it more worth it. Went over fairly well with everyone else and I can guarantee that we all still have them.

At a friends wedding, we all got personalized glass wear which was based on our favorite drinks (steins, shot glass, wine glass, even a water glass.) Not the typical "Thanks for helping in our wedding 2013" personalization but each one had a specific message for the individual that received it. I think this one worked really well due to having the individual message to each recipient and made it personal.

Got a couple money clips and pen sets that I have no clue as to where they are today and really don't care.

Aside from that, a nice flashlight would be nice. One with a bottle opener would be even better :)
