Damn you old guys and your cool cars. Kids these days think lowered civics with huge exhausts are cool.

Regardless, I was looking at project cars for a little while, and people still want good money for pieces of junk. Either way, that is a pretty solid list. The cars I had weren't nearly as cool

Never noticed that before. I've been multi-quoting the copy and paste way all this time.

I've lowered a couple cars, not for looks, but for handling. Lowered my WS-6 1.25". Anyone familiar with exit 1A off of 295 north? Took that exit at 80mph, stock tires. Car handled that no problem.

I've also done the exhaust on one of those cars. Looked good and sounded decent. Never understood the whole fart cannon thing though.

My Grand Am going through 1st gear...

Never done it, but a fellow in a building I worked at had a few hotrods, one being a Monte Carlo SS. Whole list of mods, among other lowered 2" all around. It was done tastefully though, I only noticed when I parked my stock height Monte next to it. He did it for the same reason, and yes I know that exit.

I carved out the exhaust on my old Camaro before, no cat or muffler. Loud..then went back to quiet with Thrush Sonic Turbos. Just stuck with 2.5" pipe, never got around to 3 inch. I can honestly say I've never bought tips for any exhaust I've ever had..

The exhaust I had on that car was dual 8x11 with the tips attached. Most people though there was no muffler just the tips. Made the mistake of removing the resonator. Couldn't talk to anyone in the back seat unless the car was stopped.
