None of that stuff is needed. Just run them and turn and flexes normal, the horrible noises to follow is simply the "self clearancing" at work...

I went to Sears to buy a new 27F DieHard Gold battery for the Taco, and the new battery is about 1/4" taller than the original. As a result, the metal bracket won't fit because one side is non-adjustable. WTF.

Anyone want to go to Texas Offroad Ranch tomorrow or sunday?

looks to have mild to wild, with rocks, sand, high speed, low speed, etc.

I'm just outside the northeast corner of the beltway, and it's a little less than an hour and a half from me. 65-70 miles.

    $20 a vehicle.

they have a website, but there really isn't much on it. their facebook page as a lot of pictures though

lol, i'm sure there's stuff to play around on with 2wd. some of the pictures in that link look like trail riding with some nice dips and a creek crossing.

if you'd like to come along, you're more than welcome to ride shotgun for some harder stuff. I also have plenty of recovery gear, so we can make sure nothing bad happens to you. how close to/far from stock are you?

    10-4

i'll probably try it out this weekend. gonna give them a call in the morning just to confirm everything is a go for wheeling. these start-up parks can be flakey sometimes, so it never hurts to double check. i'll let you know how it is.

Edit: congrats on the new addition :)

Thanks man, I appreciate it. As far as my truck is concerned, I am stock as stock can be. Haven't had any time to spend on the Taco :(

At least you have a rear locker. You'll be surprised what you'll be able to do with just that and airing down

bingo! That locker can do amazing things.

I am probably going tomorrow, but if you would like to joint and aren't free until sunday, I have no problem moving if back a day. I'm PMing you my phone number right now. give me a call in the morning if you'r either like to come, or would rather do it sunday. If i don't hear from you by about 10:00, i'll just head out.

10-4 guys. I've been wanting to take the Taco OR for some time now; I went off-roading in Galveston probably eight months ago and that was breaking the ole off road V-card. Didn't know about the airing-down aspect until a few months ago.
