Thanks! Figured it out once I fired it up in the truck last night, that cutoff line is wayyyyy off. Sealing the first one today and finishing the other one tonight once it gets dark.

I actually didn't grind the inner tooth off I ground off a 1/16 to 1/8 inch off the three teeth on the outside so the inner ring would still be functional. All I did was lay the ring on the back of the light where I thought would be straight and marked it with a sharpy. I used a grinding wheel to grind them down. Then you assemble the light and test fit them to see if you got the lines horizontal if not repeat the process. Just a word of advice is to take your time and don't rush it cause you don't want to have to pull a redo. Hope this helps guys!!

Just placed an order! If Andrew is reading this - misturnice - if you could double check that the halos fit into the shroud I ordered that would be great. I'll give a call tomorrow anyway.

I don't know as I haven't wired the halos yet. But I'm thinking of wiring to the DTRL which I believe will cutoff when the headlights are on.

You can get away with that with LED halos, but if they're CCFL, you'll kill them with the turn signals.

It would help if you'd quote the photo.

If you're talking about the pic with color-matched shrouds, the parts included with the kit are generally chrome, I think a couple of shrouds are clear.

    Can't clearly see the shroud.
The reflector bowl and front plastic were painted black when the projectors were installed.
The shroud may also be painted... but no, the supplied system is just the projector and shroud (normally chrome).

The ring around the lens is a halo... available in LED or CCFL.
