Made some good process today, stopped in and lent a hand as the gopher today at the shop. Rear frame is getting wrapped, cross supports and bumper going on next. Rear is looking right at 19" of travel right now, will more than likely be strapped at 18". Should all be done early next week, pretty pumped!

    Looking good!

Quick question, did you use Plasti Dip or bedliner spray on your bedsides to protect them from rock chips? How is it holding up?

It's Monstaliner, pretty popular stuff for Jeepers to paint their tubs. It's holding up awesome, best thing is they have a 5 year UV warranty from peeling/cracking/fading.

are you pulling 18" strapped with your 16" shocks? or getting longer shocks?

Well I'm getting 19" now and we are really close to using 100% of the shock. That's without wheels or extra weight pulling it down more. To be safe they said they will probably strap it at 18" with the expected strap stretch.

    very cool.

the way I understand it with your setup, with the axle all the way up, the shock swings backwards a bit, and at full droop, the shock swings forward, providing that extra travel. I was thinking it was a straight 1:1 ratio. very nice! your build is an inspiration to me. thinking I may follow suit once money is not an issue for me

Awesome, you are local so you can stop by The Truck Shop up in Miramar and check it out. If the are done with mine, they should have Special_k's truck in doing the exact same thing right after mine.

Still a few things left before it is finished. Good enough to drive, but a few finishing touches needed.
