    Pull out all of the appliances and tile under them. There should be enough room for the dishwasher to fit afterwards, it will be tight.
    Don't forget that you will have an underlayment like Hardibacker under the tile as well. You screw it down to the existing floor and then put the tile on top. That way if the tile ever gets torn out then the original subfloor is still intact. Plus it helps to stiffen up the floor so if you have any squeaky or bouncy spots the tile will still have a good, sturdy base.

    66* was in shorts and a tank top and still broke a sweat :eek:

    on there all of the time. I'll store it at my parents during the winter.

    I used to work at a flooring store - learned how to lay tile for a great installer. Still remember some of the tricks. And I've done some work myself...ask away
