Why aren't there any Tacoma commercials?

Anyone ever wonder why you never see a commercial for the Tacoma.I know it sells well without commercials,but so does the F150 and Silverado, and you still see commercials for them.For a truck that sells better then there fullsize Tundra and nearly outsells the fullsize Sierra, you would think it would get a little more love from Toyota, just sayin'

 

meh Tacomas are hot it sells itself- they dont bother.

 

Advertising is about presence of mind awareness and product repping...the tacoma doesn't need a cheesy Eco boost/professional grade promo...it's sells it self so the ad dollars go to other lines that need pushing...the venza/rav4 etc...

That's what I'm saying, F150 and Silverado don't need commercials either, but they have them! Maybe we'll see more commercials once the new Colorado comes out and there's more competition.I don't know.I'd definitely love to see more commercials like the Tacoma loch ness monster commercial, and another one I remember seeing a long time ago with the Tacoma in the desert.

I remember one from a dirt bike track? And they put the bikes in the back and do a break stand? It was promoting the new "bed material" at the time. It was around 05' because that's when I bought my first

For not having to many commercials the ones that they do have beat the hell outta any other commercials

there were a bunch, and quite memorable, who needs commercials when you don't have competition. F-150s, Rams, Titans, Silverados and Tundras on the other hand are in a pretty tight segment and need the exposure. Midsize trucks are between the Tacoma or the Frontier so not much need to advertise.
