no worries man, just going thru the meat grinder for coming off wrong, most of us have had to get slapped here & there...

Ever thought about putting seats like that in the front AND back of a double cab?

 

Nothing like having to pull off the side of the Interstate to put out a fire from weeds catching on the catalytic converter after going in a swamp and only having a water cooler with you only made that mistake once.

 

No shit huh... actually his post reminded me that I need to replace my own, i tried to put out a fire under the hood of a samuri behind an RV along hwy 67 about 3 months ago..... we were unsuccessful

I dunno 5 or six inches... right now its between my back bench and the doorjam, not stowed for sea. I don't really wanna drill holes in the floor but I want it in the cab.

 

5 or 6 inches in diameter? Holy fack that's a huge fire extinguisher.

I remember reading a thread a while back about where to put the extinguisher... in the cab or in the bed. Many presented that in the cab is a bad idea because, if there's a fire in the cab the first thing you want to do is get out. Not futz around for an extinguisher.

 

Isn't a fire more likely in the engine comp or underneath or brakes? Remember its warm and dry where I live haha

 

I dunno. Just going by what I've read and put thought into.

My truck will eventually have two smaller ones. One in the cab and one in the bed (or on the bed rack)

 

Mount it to the seat underneath

 

A 5 or 6 inch diameter extinguisher won't fit under the seat, IMO

 

Ya IDK never tried to put one in the cab before, don't they make special fire extinguishers that are built for cab use?

Put it in the bed. Make is much easier to gain access too for other people too.
