Dirt Designs 05+ Taco 4WD RACE kit

Well heres the latest suspension im going to build. 05+ 4wd tacoma race kit. 3.5 over arms, boxed upper arms, boxed lower arms, heim steering, and 4WD BOXED SPINDLES!!

Thats right FINALLY someone has fully fabbed spindles for a 4wd tacoma. Kit should cycle 14" bolt in travel with inner fenders and stock coil buckets. With coil buckets removed and inner fender wells removed the kit should be able to pull 16" of working 4wd travel. Kit will be cycling on the truck next week so i will have real numbers then.

Is the spindle going to compatible with stock / regular LT applications? I can't see the pics so I don't know how you have the heims set up.

Price point on the spindle?

This spindle is specific for this kit. The reason being that the other lt kits on the market all use a single shear bolt on the lower and upper control arms. While i can double shear the upper arm bolts, theres no way to double shear the lower with how they have it arranged. With this kit i didnt want to just copy what everyone else was building and i wanted to make it the strongest setup i possibly could. The spindles on this kit use a double sheared upper and lower bolts for the uniballs making the joints a whole lot stronger.


If I build spindles to work with other LT kits the price will most likely be around $1200-1300 a pair. If there are 5 people that want the spindles I can start designing asap. And yes, they will be beefy.

 

If u design these for stock application that would be bad ass too....

Will the spindles increase the track width or will the length be determined by the arms alone
