I've got the stock 265's on my Tacoma, presently. I have a set of General Grabber AT2'S that are 285/75/16's. Has anyone put that size on WITHOUT lifting? I'm trying to figure out if and where it will rub, how bad, and can I do the swap without lifting?

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
If you plan to just drive straight then maybe but that's if your stock wheels with 285's don't touch the UCA which I am sure they will so you'll need some sort of wheels spacers.

Well since these tires are now a waste, do you guys have any idea what the biggest tire could be, without lifting?

Yeah, it's a first Gen. I've got the 265/70/16 on there now. I know I can go bigger. Just not sure how much.

265/75/16 is about the largest you can on the stock suspension.

I already took the front flaps off, in anticipation of rubbing them
