There seams to be a whole lot of but hurt going on with these dyno or no dyno talks. My question is does anyone plan on doing a before and after dyno?

So when i race around the track i shouldnt go over 3,400 rpm? My point was that there was a gain in tq. As soon as a manual truck does a dyno with the spacer then you will have the lower end data.

Then you should see the biggest increase in fuel economy over the stock intake. The harder you hit it, the more you save.

Curious, but can an automatic do a pull from such a low rpm?

I wonder if an N/A manual has enough power to start a pull from that rpm? Isn't idle at 6-800?

I would say a run between 1900 and 2400 RPM's would tell the story, not a hard pull at all...then there would be some real data for daily driving....

And running it with an auto would give some good data too...whatever...

Naturally I'm referring to normal everyday utility transportation which is by far the primary function of the vast majority of trucks. That dyno run only begins to provide information for trucks that are travelling faster than 102mph... and that's essentially useless information.

Believe me... I won't hold my breath. ;)

No, the claims of no dynos being run is not bogus... You tested a similar product from another manufacturer at best. Can you guarantee that the OP's manufacturing tolerances were the same? Or that the spacer is the same length? At best, you can say that the increase claims aren't completely unfounded but you can not say dynos were run. Also, this product claims low end gains, the only dyno provided started at a higher RPM range and as such, are irrelevant.

Just waiting for OP to let me know when would be a good time to come down. Hopefully we can get something set up by end of the month cause August is kinda busy for me.

    Too long to list :D
I mean to give him some time now that he has a first run produced, and people willing to come down. Doesn't matter when a thread was started if there wasn't anything to dyno until now.

That's what I was thinking. Some people still care what happens at 3,400 rpm and higher :)

Just thinking out loud, but wouldn't the torque converter still be messing with your numbers that low?

That's only if you're in 5th gear (or 6th with a stick) though..

Okay guys, I'll keep my Nissan mouth shut now ;)

    .
Why don't we all just give it a rest and wait for some numbers and buyers impressions OK? If it gains a couple HP and Lbs at the lower end then awesome, I'm going to wait and see what happens, not endlessly go around in circles because the OP didn't do things in the proper order to everyone's satisfaction.

While there might be a potential problem with selling a product before it has even been tested, if flat or negative before and after dyno runs were to happen to turn up in the future...

...but I also see the other side that people freely chose to buy a product without any documentation so its all good as far as I'm concerned because the buyers feel they got their money's worth. Every business transaction is a meeting of the minds. Without a prior agreement between buyer and seller there can be no transaction.

I don't think there is any problem with the way the OP did things. The people who got in on the group buy bought a product with limited information and a lower price point. They were willing to take the gamble on the product's success. Now, the people who are left are those of us we want data before taking the plunge. At this point, the OP has a choice, dyno them and possibly sell more product, or keep on offering the product to people who will buy it without concrete results. Free market, I don't think the OP did anything wrong at all, even if the dyno results end up not showing any gains.

I agree that it's the buyer who always has the final word on the conditions of any business transaction.
