    hmm, the stinky tofu in Hong Kong isnt all that authentic given that Hong Kong people like sweet stuff, but stinky tofu is really savory and can be salty, given that tofu is almost pure protein, so it's like eating meat that has been somewhat fermented, but makes your mouth juicy and watery when you chew on it. You just have to get over the initial smell, thus giving it the name 'stinky tofu'
